Observations indicate that a woman’s probability of developing breast cancer is significantly increased when her grandmother, mother, or sister all passed away from the disease. Compared to the average risk for women, breast cancer risk is higher:
who began her period at the age of 12.
who experienced menopause after age 55.
who are older than 30
who have never experienced menopause.
the use of hormonal birth control.
It’s important to remember that breast cancer usually causes little pain; in fact, the more discomfort a tumour experiences, the less likely it is to become a malignant tumour. See your doctor right away for initiating breast cancer treatment, if you experience bleeding, discoloration, an external lesion, or a breast lump. It is crucial to see your doctor as quickly as possible, even if the patient is not in pain.
